IGEN has treated thousands of patients, since its establishment as an independent practice in Flint, MI. The practice enjoys a stellar reputation because of high quality outcomes and has been ranked at par with neurosurgical services in tertiary care centers, for its outcomes and management of complex cases. IGEN encourages excellence in education and research. We are extensively published in peer reviewed science journals, have written book chapters and, an entire book on endovascular neurosurgery. Our scientific contribution includes writing the complete endovascular neurosurgery section for the most widely read book of Neurosurgery, ‘Greenberg Handbook of Neurosurgery’, which is owned by almost every neurosurgeon.

Meet Dr. Khan

Our neurosurgeon, Dr Khan is one of few neurosurgeons, nationally and globally, who has dual expertise in cerebrovascular surgery and endovascular neurosurgery/interventional neuroradiology. She is also fellowship trained in neurotrauma. With an impressive background of stellar training and practice experience in premier institutions in the US and Canada, she is the only one in the area providing complete subspecialty care for conditions such as stroke, aneurysms and neurotrauma.

Dr Khan has been practicing in Genesee county since 2014. She is associated with Hurley Medical center, Flint and Ascension Genesys Hospital, Grand Blanc. She is clinical assistant Professor of Surgery at Michigan State University and is widely published in her area of expertise.
